Frequently asked questions
How are my passwords protected?
Every secret field is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, and two-factor sign-in is required to use Vault. Vault isn't a zero-knowledge system: there's no personal master password.
What happens when a colleague leaves?
As soon as an admin removes someone from the workspace, Vault revokes their access and flags every shared password they could see for rotation.
Is there a browser extension?
Yes. It fills in login forms using your existing Rec-Motion session.
Can I see who used a password?
Yes, every view, copy and change is in the activity log.
